Taekwon-Do Impact have announced the Open Championship competition to be held at Latchmere Leisure Centre in Battersea on the 17th February 2018. Grand Master Nardizzi has dedicated himself to raising money for the victims of the Grenfell Tower tragedy, which included members of the Taekwon-do family.
So far he has managed to raise £48,000 and is determined to smash through the £50,000 barrier in order to help those who have been devastated by the London fire in June last year. 70 people lost there lives in the event and this competition is an opportunity for the Impact Taekwon-do community to remember the victims whilst supporting the survivors and the families and friends of those affected.
The competition is open to Black Belts and colour belts Yellow Belts to Black Tags. It is split into four age categories: Under 13’s; 13-17 yrs, 18+yrs and Senior Advanced. The events are Sparring, Patterns, Special Technique (Under 13’s and 13-17yrs), Power (18+yrs only).
Hopefully we can add some more names to the Breakthrough Honours Board whilst contributing to a great cause.
